ABOUT RISC-2023
The RAK INNOVATION SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE (RISC) 2023
is an initiative designed by the University of Bolton, Rak Academic
Centre in partnership with RAK Education Zone (MoE) aiming to
raise awareness and educate RAK school and university students on
sustainability issues and designing potential solutions.
This challenge intends to welcome innovative ideas and concepts in
support of sustainability.
Students across all the schools & universities in RAK will be invited to
join the RAK INNOVATION SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE (RISC)
2023 and produce innovative solutions to the problems identified.
THE
TARGET
GROUP
– Open to Grade 9-12 School Students and to
University | College Students, RAK based
– Each participating school | university in RAK can
send a maximum of 4 teams from each category
– To enter the Challenge, students must submit an
idea for a mural around this theme, using creativity
and originality
– Judges will shortlist the best 2 teams in each
category as who will present to the Judging
Scientist Committee at the IWAM Conference
